Square Fall Wreath

Sew...Not a sewing project yet again, but I love this one! I was just browsing the net, trying to find some more ideas of things to make for Christmas. Well, I ran across a ton of crafts to do with leaves! Sew, the kids and I went on a little leaf collecting hike yesterday. Was a very nice walk. And the kids had fun trying to find the coolest leaves. TJ was big on helping collect acorns, which we were needing also! Would have liked to get pics of them collecting leaves, but we were just going up our street and down the next and I didn't want to risk TJ running into the street while I was trying to snap a photo!

Here's the first finished project. The girls and I made this after TJ went to bed last night. I did the bow this morning. It's not the most cooperative, or pretty bow, but I still like it. It turned out even better than I thought it would! It looks so beautiful on our front door! We actually got some pine cones as well, but they needed to be hot glued, and then we forgot about them. I'll have to put some on the others we will make. As we will definitely be making more of these! And you can be sure you will be seeing more completed leaf crafts soon!

  5. Very cute! I can't wait for Lyndon to get older so I can do crafts with him! Although I'm sure he could help me collect leaves for this!!

  6. Man, that wreath is awesome, it looks like the kind they sell for $50 bucks and upwards. I'm with PD about it being a family project, can't put a price on those memories!!! Reminds me of picking up pine cones and pine needles at Memaw's every year.
