New Addition...

Sew... I just happened across an estate sale a couple of weeks ago. I got some really awesome old (supposedly WWII era) trunks for $10. And tons of other items including a GORGEOUS solid wood bench for my front porch. It's got a back to it, and the seat opens so you can store stuff inside it. And, it's big enough for all 5 of us to sit on it! Got that for $5!

I also got something I've really, REALLY been wanting and keeping an eye out for. A sewing desk! $20 got me this gorgeous old desk. And the sweet little lady who I got it from actually used it as her sewing desk for many a year as well.

Well, I finally sewed on it for the 1st time last night. Here's a picture of it. And if you look close, you can see the pants I made sitting there as well as my sister's lamp she is letting me borrow for a while! I will be posting the pants here in a little bit!
